SCOPE

Information systems are interfused with many processes in our daily and business lives. Hence they are increasingly shaping societal and business interactions, influencing our communicational and behavioral patterns. Nevertheless, the call for including public discussion on values in the design and application of these systems is getting louder. In this special session, academics and business professionals will be brought together to discuss the potential and the actual implications of IT design on inter-personal behavior as well as interactions within business contexts. The importance of incorporating moral values into the design of the IT artifacts as well as to create IT artifacts that support the realization of moral values is shown in the presented research and will be discussed.
